Is dermaplaning recommended for everyone?
Although this amazing treatment is safe for ALL skin types, we ask if you have active acne, to wait until your breakouts clear before trying this treatment. It is also great for men, although we cannot dermaplane over heavy facial hair. This is a great treatment if you are pregnant or nursing and want exfoliation, without the use of chemicals.

What can I expect during my treatment? Does it hurt?
Dermaplaning is a PAINLESS treamtment that includes consultation, deep cleansing, professional exfoliation in the form of dermaplaning followed by an enzyme peel, soothing mask and finished with Glo Skin Beauty products suited to your unique skin.

How should I care for my skin after a dermaplaning service?
After dermaplaing, your skin will need time to heal and restore. Treat the skin gently, using only hands to cleanse for at least two days and keep your skin hydrated, we recommend a hyaluronic acid serum. Your skin will be highly sensitive to sun and may be a little pink, so be sure to wear a broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher everyday.

Will my hair grow back thicker or darker?
No, dermaplaning will not alter your natural hair growth. As the hair grows back, it may feel like a new sensation for a brief period of time, but most clients do not notice.

How long is the treatment and what does it cost?
Your initial appointment will be an hour and costs $105. Maintenance treatments (done every 4-6 weeks) are 30-45 minutes and $85. Appointments booked after 6 weeks will be charged as an initial treatment.
